BE TRUE – Seitenwechsel Multi Sport Event

It's that time again! On the 24th of July we'll hold our BETRUE-Multi Sport Event, in cooperation with Nike. We are happy to do sports together with all FLINTA*/ MINTA* under the colors of the rainbow, our community flag.
Feel free to come and do your favorite sports or try your hand at something new. All sports activities are open to all trans*Inter* people and also to FLT*I* people. This is an introduction to Seitenwechsel e.V. and you do not need to have trained with us yet. We're happy to to get to know each other. On this day, we will celebrate together, but also recharge our energy and strength to continue fighting for rights for the LGBTIQ+ community.
So, pack your sports gear already, make a note of July 24.
Check out our program! We also extend a big thank you to all the trainers who are offering open trainings at our BETRUE- Multi Sport Event. All participants will receive a cool Betrue sports shirt upon participation (while supplies last).

Football Tournament
with Erin and Greta
During Pride month we want to play a football tournament with you, where playing together is more important than winning. You can register as a single player or as a group, on site we will form mixed teams and play 7against7 together to get the ball rolling on the field. All experience levels are welcome, it doesn't matter if you've just started playing or been playing for 20 years.

We will have the opportunity to spend some time playing Basketball. We'll focus on ball handling, shooting, reading and reaction drills, before playing some games.

I am Everline Odero (Pepe) I have over 10 years of experience coaching amateur and professional boxers at various levels. I have trained boxers in all aspects of the sport, including technique, conditioning, and strategy. I am passionate about helping athletes reach their full potential and achieve their goals both in and out of the ring. I am confident that my experience, knowledge, and dedication to the sport make me a valuable asset to any boxing program. I strongly believe that it's important to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels valued and supported. By showing respect for each other, we can build trust and collaboration, leading to a more enjoyable, fun and productive experience for all. Moreso with that we continue to foster a sense of community and mutual respect in our interactions.

We invite you to play beach volleyball with us. All levels are welcome!

Power*Fitness
with Kayza
Power Fitness is a full body workout where we focus on the large muscle groups as well as the smaller stabilizing muscles, coordination and cardiovascular development. We squat, run, stand on one leg, do planks and lift weights. As a trainer, I put a lot of emphasis on doing things with good form rather than pushing to exhaustion at all costs, which may cause the body to suffer later.
Even though it's a tough workout aimed to challenge you, it’s still suitable for everyone since easier variations will always be provided.

The method for strength, flexibility and greater body awareness. This Pilates class offers you a balanced mix of body strengthening and straightening. Whether you want to try Pilates for the first time or already have a lot of experience, the class takes your personal needs into account.

Parcour
with Nora
Parcour (abbreviated PK, /paʁkuʁ/) refers to a form of locomotion whose goal is to get from A to B as efficiently as possible using only the abilities of one's own body. Parkour runners determine their own path through urban or natural space - in a different way than dictated by architecture and culture. They try to overcome obstacles in their way as efficiently as possible by combining different movements. Flow and control of movement are in the foreground.

Self-Defence / Stick Fight

Modern Arnis is a Filipino martial art that is practised with rattan sticks. It was mainly used by the population to defend themselves against the European colonisers and has been continuously developed over the centuries.
In this workshop we will give an introduction to a few basic striking techniques.
We will also practise defence options and effective counters against common attacks with the stick.

After a warm-up, we learn a choreography to Britney Spears' "Toxic". It's all about having fun with movement, music and being silly.

Beach Soccer
mit Anja
Beach soccer is a variant of football that is played on sand. The sandy surface makes the game more difficult and requires good balance, control and strength from the players. The soft surface also enables acrobatic moves such as back kicks or side kicks. The game is faster and higher scoring than traditional football games and is a real challenge in terms of fitness. Let's give it a try :-)

Self-Defence for TIN folk
with Esra
In this workshop, we will work together on some techniques for self-defence and self-empowerment. In small exercises, we will look at simple punching and kicking techniques, how we can move in space and how we can use our voice. The course is designed to give you a little insight into the subject and, above all, to show that martial arts and self-defence are for everyone and can be learned by anyone, regardless of previous experience!

Fitness

Strength, endurance, flexibility and coordination are the pillars of fitness. Everything is in harmony with each other in this fitness training programme. In addition to strength and coordination training, stretching and relaxation are not neglected. Above all, however, we attach great importance to having fun.
Self-awareness is trained so that you can participate in the training according to your own abilities or adapt the movements if your body feels uncomfortable.
Everyone can join in, we are united by the joy of moving together!

Glamorous, cool, dangerous and heart-warmingly silly: at Trash*Dance we can be anything that brings joy. We learn a choreography together in one hour, away from the usual dance school forms and body norms. No matter whether you are talented or ambitious: It's all about having fun with music, movement and performing together.

Strength training for everyone (MINTA*s 13-18yrs)
with Felix
Are you between 13 and 18 years old and would like to get stronger? Then this workshop is just right for you, whether your goal is your first pull-up, your first push-up or simply to have fun and improve your body awareness. No previous experience is necessary. We will learn the basics of strength training and do strength exercises together so that you can continue training at home on your own without expensive sports equipment.

Spikeball
with Reni
requires nothing more than a net, a ball and four players. The playing field is everywhere, so it's a 360° game without field boundaries. Roundnet is played indoors, on grass or in the sand and is great fun. On BETRUE day, we want to introduce you to the fun of this sport. From small team exercises to a small tournament, we have come up with great exercises.
