Right-wing extremism threatens us and our democracy!

If we as a society truly want to stand up seriously and sustainably against right-wing extremism—and therefore also against right-wing violence and inhumane behavior—we must make our voices heard! Let’s come together to express our outrage at discrimination, or even our despair, so that we can find solutions together, oppose hostility toward others, and strengthen one another.

Especially in such challenging political times, an event like the “Run AGAINST the Right” allows us to experience ourselves as a community, draw strength from that, and be sure that we are not alone! This run is for everyone—people of all genders and all ages; for people with and without disabilities; for families, singles, or entire sports groups.

From the Drag Fun Relay to a Bambini lap, a short and punchy 4 km route, a relaxed 6 km loop, and an ambitious 12 km double loop, there are various distances for running, rolling, walking, Nordic walking, or hiking—depending on your mood, preference, and fitness level, and of course at your own pace! The runs start from 10 a.m.

The start and finish this time are near the Herrfurth-/Oderstr. junction!
During the event, there will be entertainment in the start and finish area, including short speeches, music, and performances.

Starting with your donation for the run (“entry donation”), as well as donations for homemade cake or T-shirts distributed in exchange for donations, the event is a charity run. This year, your donations will go to the Agentur für soziale Perspektiven e.V. to support the maintenance of the important platform for queer youth queere-jugend-berlin.de as part of a strategy against right-wing extremism. We don't know how you are, but the run AGAINST the right has given us a lot of energy and strength! Doing nothing is often depressing & can make you feel powerless. Coming together, like on Saturday, gives you a good feeling & sooo much energy! It was a wonderful event with you and we thank you very much for coming, for running and for your donations! It was so colorful! It's hard to make a better statement against the right than these powerful steps for human rights, respect & queerness.

If we as a society truly want to take a serious and sustainable stand against right-wing extremism—and thus against right-wing violence and inhumane behavior—we must speak up! Let’s come together in outrage over discrimination, share our frustration, and then work together to find solutions and stand up to hate while empowering one another.

Especially in politically challenging times like these, an event like the Run AGAINST the Right allows us to come together as a community, draw strength from one another, and know that we are not alone! This run is for everyone—of all genders and all ages. For people with and without disabilities, for families, individuals, or entire sports teams.

From the drag fun relay, to a children’s round, a quick and snappy 3km lap, a relaxed 6km loop, or a more ambitious 12km double loop—there are different distances for running, rolling, walking, or hiking, based on your mood, fitness level, and of course at your own pace! Runs start from 10 a.m.
